Privacy Policy Updates

WeKlan may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If so, WeKlan will post our updated Privacy Policy on our Site(s). WeKlan may also send registered users of the Site(s) or Products e-mail notifications notifying such users of any material changes to the Privacy Policy. WeKlan encourages you to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes. Your continued use of this Site and/or continued provision of personal data to us will be subject to the terms of the then-current Privacy Policy. What Personal Data We Collect, Use and Handle

Basic Account Data

WeKlan is a families networking app. You provide your email-id, gender and basic account data (which may include profile name, gender, mobile number, profile picture and about information) to create a WeKlan account.

To make it easier for your connections and other people to search, connect with you and recognize who you are, the profile name you provide, your gender, your profile pictures, your city and profession (should you choose to provide) on WeKlan are always public. And your connected relation with other users is visible to all connected users.

Your E-mail Address

Your email address will only be used to send you a password recovery code if you forget it and for you to login to WeKlan.

Cloud Chats

WeKlan messaging is a cloud service. We store messages from your cloud chats on our service provider servers (such as Google's Firebase) so that you can access your data from any of your devices anytime without having to rely on third-party backups.

Storing Data

Data currently is stored in two different locations Mumbai and Singapore on our third-party provided data centers such as GCP. WeKlan avails certain services from our third-party vendors such as Google's Firebase Authentication using email-id.

WeKlan collects minimal data from you to provide the networking services. Sadly, if you're not OK with WeKlan's modest minimum requirements, it won't be possible for us to provide you with our Services. You can delete your WeKlan account by proceeding to the edit profile page on the app and choosing to delete profile.

Deleting data

If you would like to delete your account, you can do this on the edit profile page within the app. Deletion of your account removes all of your profile data including connections/relations with other users. This action must be confirmed via your WeKlan account and cannot be undone. Your chat messages, if any, are immediately anonymized and deleted with delay in a batch process. In addition/summary:

- To delete your account: Home -> Menu -> Edit Profile -> (scroll to bottom) -> Delete (this mandates you also delete anything you posted from their respective screens/pages).

- You can write to the admin/developer at 'vekdev01 at gmail dot com (vekdev01@gmail.com)' from the registered email account and request deletion of your account and data.

Vendors and service providers

We provide information and content to vendors and service providers who support our business, such as by providing technical infrastructure services, analysing how our Products are used and other app usage analytics such as Firebase Analytics.
